I have recently been diagnosed with severe osteoporosis and I don t know much about it. I have severe pain and am taking Morphine for it. I am walking 4 to 5 miles per day I heard walking is good. I am afraid of taking classes like yoga or strengthening exercises for fear I will break something or do something wrong.Please advise me regarding exercise.Thank you.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Exercise by means of walking or yoga will be definitely beneficial in people who are having osteoporosis. Along with that, kindly take supplementation of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, Vitamin C and Vitamin D in the form of medication as well as consuming food rich in these substances.
