Is Exercising Safe While Suffering From Atrial Fibrillation?
Hi, my name is Danny, I am 51. I used to be a runner and trained with weights also until I developed Afib a year and a half ago. I take Cardizem and Eliquis. I would like to start an exercise program but I m afraid to get back in the gym. How will I know what is too much? I tend to overdo my workouts, but I have been putting exercise off since this has happened. What would be a good start? Thank you.
As you already have atrial fibrillation, so you should be very careful about exercise. Avoid heavy exercise. Always try to exercise under trained trainers at gym. Otherwise it is better to walking about 30-40 mins per day. Avoid over exertion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
