Hello, I am a 44 year old female, just got through ten days on antibiotics for walking pneumonia. I understand that it may be some weeks befor I recover fully however, I keep breaking into a sweat when ever I do anything, and am completely exhausted. Zero energy. Is this normal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The fatigue is normal while recovering from the walking pneumonia. I suggest to follow a healthy lifestyle, drink liquids and eat a healthy diet. I also suggest to take a multivitamin supplement to boost the energy. The recovery process is gradual and it may need some days to weeks for full recovery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
