Is Extra Iodine Intake Safe After Papillary Thyroid Cancer Surgery?

My son is 23 years and has papillary thyroid cancer a year 1/2 ago. He had surgery which only one lobe taken out, and one lobe was ablated. He is still watched by the Endo. He is lifting weight to build muscle but is taking the supplement muscle milk after his work out. I am looking at the ingredient and it contained 35% daily allowances with potassium iodine? Should I be concern about the extra iodine which might cause the cancer cell to grow more and faster?

HI
Well come to HCM
Actually this may not be the case, because if this is malignancy then diet or anything may not affect the malignancy process in either way and need not to worry about this, iodine is not the carcinogenic as long as the thyroid function is concern, hope this information helps, take care.
