Is Fatigue And Strain In Eye After Being Hit In The Back Of Head A Cause For Concern?

I got hit hard in the back of my head by a volleyball. I felt the sudden impact and the inside of my head move. Felt tired after and a headache the next day. Very tired and eye strain feeling along with just feeling off. How long could I expect this to last and what can I do to help heal faster?

Dear welcome to hcm and thanks for choosing us.

Yes it is certainly a cause of concern. Hit on head can result in concussion injuries to opposite side. You had hit in back and you are feeling strain in front, it indicates some injury to brain. It may last for a week but Please visit a physician immediately for examination. If everything is found normal just take painkillers. Else follow what your doctor says. You will require close monitoring and rest for a week.if brain is injured you may require anti inflammatory medicines, mannitol infusion eyc.

I hope my reply will help you. Please write to hcm or me for follow up queries. I wish you good luck and health. Kindly write a feedback. Thanks
