Is Fetal Age Same As The Gestational Age?

good day doc, i got confused.. as far as i know based on my LMP( Jan 16) i am 8weeks and 4 days pregnant. I just had my 1st transvaginal ultrasound and it says that uterus is in the midline, retroverted and regularly enlarged containing a gestational sac with a 0.9 cm alive embrayo fetal heart rate 136b/min. cervical canal is closed. 7 week gestational age. would that mean im only 7weeks pregnant? is fetal age and gestational age same?

do not worry at all.sometimes ur lmp and gestational age does not corresponds to each other.at this stage when u have alive embryo then no need to worry.just be cool and enjoy ur motherhood.with time ur fetus will grow by its own and u have to do only one thing that is ur regular checkups.everything will be fine. u just start tab folic acid 5 mg twice daily and B -COMPLEX daily upto 4 month regularly without any break.
