Is Fever And Chills Side Effects Of Pneumococcal Vaccination And Flu Shot?
I am over 65 years old. I had my regular flu shot on Friday. At the same time I had my first pneumoccal vaccination. On Saturday evening I developed chills that lasted about two hours before fever set in. The fever was much reduced by the time I went to sleep. The same series of events are underway right now. Is it safe to assume these are effects of the vaccines?

Thanks for the query. Generally it should not cause fever with chills.
Only dtp is known to cause fever for two days after vaccination.
