Is Fever Followed By Cough And Low Appetite A Cause For Concern?

My daughter has had a low grade fever for 6 days. I took her to the dr the 2nd day and they did a strep test. It came back negative after 24 hours. She now has developed a cough but feels fine and still has an appetite. Should I take her back to the dr?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello. I have gone through your question. I would suggest to wait and treat her smptomatically. Give her a cough syrup which has ambroxol and phenylephrine. If she develops fever, then you can consult a doctor. Hope this helps. If you have any other queries/question please feel free to ask. Thanks and wish you a healthy life.
