Hello. welcome to HCM.
Of all complicated and dynamic organs in the human body, breast is the best example. Depending on age and
hormonal status, even in relation to menstrual cycle, the breast parenchyma undergoes lot many changes, which physicians understand as Abnormalities in Normal Development and Involution of breast.
Even amongst abnormalities, there are a spectrum of pathologies, not all of which are necessarily malignant or premalignant. You are probably relating common and uncommon things in yourself.
Fibroadenosis is a very common problem... different from
Fibroadenoma.... both of these are benign.. Adenosis is one end of spectrum for ANDI and adenoma is a benign tumour which almost never turns to malignancy.
On the other hand, atypical lobular
hyperplasia is a pre-cancerous lesion which had higher chance of malignant transformaltion.
Whether, you have both can b e decided only by complete excision and histopathology (
biopsy )testing.
So, please dont imagine pathologies and worry yourself. If possible go in for treatment of fibroadenosis. It really works... or else, you can get it surgically removed.
Take care.
