Is Fine Bruising On The Temple Of A Toddler A Cause For Concern?

Hi my 2 year old was running and fell into the door frame. It looked like she hit her forehead on the door but now she has a very fine bruise on her temple. She seems ok in herself eating, playing with toys etc but i know a knock to the temple can be quite bad. What do you think i should do? Its past her bedtime but ive kept her awake to keep an eye on her she doesnt seem sleepy.

Hi.

There doesn't seem anything wrong with her, if there were you would have noticed something or the other. Allow her to sleep now, I am sure she will be fine in the morning as well. a cold pack over the region for a day, followed by a warm compress for the next 2-3 days should take care of the swelling.
