Dear Ma'am Hi
I appreciate your concern for the safety of air travel during 7 months of pregnancy.
Generally it is safe to travel during the first 7 to 8 months of pregnancy as long as you do not have any pregnancy related complications & if you take proper precautions.
Well Duvadilan (Isoxuprine) which is an uterine smooth
muscle relaxant and are generally given for prevention or delaying
preterm labor that might occur during long distance flight. This drug is given for preterm pains hence it can be taken.
Precautions to be followed while travelling by air:
Take a copy of your prenatal (antenatal) record with you.
Wear comfortable, low-heeled shoes and loose-fitting clothes.
Eat healthy meals and snacks. Carry snacks with you. Eat enough fiber in your meals to avoid
constipation.
Drink plenty of water & keep yourself hydrated. Carry a water bottle with you.
Do not take any medicines, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, supplements, and herbal remedies, without consulting your doctor.
Get up and walk often while you are traveling.
Walking and moving your arms improves blood flow in your body. This prevents
blood clots from forming in the legs and pelvis.
Get enough sleep and rest.
Wishing you a happy & safe journey.
Regards
