Is Fluctuating Body Temperature Indicative Of A Damaged Vagus Nerve?
hi im a 35yo male with diagnosed ibs, diverticulitus, gastroparesis, and ulnar nerve damage. recently i have had trouble with fainting after severe abdominal pain and i can not empty my bladder. very weak stream and at nite i wake up about every 2 hrs covered head to toe in sweat and very hot for about a minute then urinate a little, then am freezing cold for about a minute then temp seems to regulate. could this be from a damaged vagus nerve? or a new problem? also feel like fainting if i see blood or even violence on tv. ive never been like that before. thank you for your time. i apologize for spelling and grammar.
I think you are talking for several different issues. Do first an urine analysis because you may be suffering an urinary tract infection. Check your thyroid function because elevated body temperature and flashes at night. The vasovagal reaction to blood is more a psychological issue.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
