Is Flying Safe After A Head Injury?

I m a 22 y.o. male and landed on my head from around 8-10ft on to a grassy soil surface which resulted in 6 stitches and lots of swelling. That happened three days ago and I m getting a short haul flight tomorrow less than an hour. Is it safe for me to fly?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,

In your description, you do not mention any other symptoms which might indicate brain damage (seizures, double vision, visual loss, weakness or numbness of the limbs, changes in behavior etcetera).

Furthermore, symptoms usually appear in the first 24 to 48 hours so after three days the observation time is over. So, there is no danger in you taking that flight, you will be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
