Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an open myomectomy on 9 Dec 2014. I have a family function that requires me to fly for 45 minutes, and drive of 2 hrs on 3oth, and return (same fly and drive for 2 hrs). I am 30 years old, 70 Kgs and 5.2height. Thanks. Please advise if this is okay, or if its too soon.

Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. S. Samanta's Response
Hi! welcome to HCM!
Well, if I were your family physician for this simple query, I would say that as this is after 6 weeks of surgery and there was/is no post-operative complication, it is safe to fly or any kind of normal physical activities!
Hope this answers your question in an assertive gesture; please revert back to us if necessary!
wish you safe journey and good health!
