General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
With two iron infusions, your dad's haemoglobin level should have gone up by about 2 gm% and further it may continue to increase due to intake of Vitamin B12 tablets along with iron rich foods.
Hence, flying should be safe for him and it is not contraindicated in cases of anaemia.
Kindly continue with the medications and other supplements as suggested to be taken for improvement in his haemoglobin level.
Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.,
