Is Flying Safe While Suffering From Paralysis In The Right Leg And Hand?
My Mother came to visit us in UK got sick, when we checked with doctor and CT scan we find out she has got gallbladder cancer which spread to liver. An oncologist from London bridge hospital gave us report that she also has got blood clot in her lung and in that condition she cant fly back to homeland. NHS gave her blood thinner however refused to give her any further treatment unless we make £100000 bond. and GP is not helpful. Just for your information on 2011 my mother has got a stroke and she is partly paralysed on her right leg and hand, she has the problem with convulsion, she has high blood pressure and diabetic my questions are 1. How will we know if my mother is ok to fly back in Bangladesh? is that any X-ray or blood test? 2. how will we find out which stage my mother s cancer is? and how much it will cost? 3. what is the next step we must have to take?

Hi, That only the oncologist can tell you after seeing the scan or they may tell you to undergo some invasive examination like a biopsy. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
