Hi, I am a 28-year old lady. I have been urinating frequently especially at night. I was diagnosed with diabetes in January 2012. My FBS test (last month) result was 119 and I had stopped taking my Metformin for over 3 months prior to the test date. Is frequent urination in any way a symptom of cancer.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Rishi Sen's Response
Hi there, Frequent urination can be a symptom of bladder cancer. But it is a less common cause. I would suggest you seek advice from the doctor who is treating you for your diabetes. All the best
