Is Gastritis A Common Problem During Pregnancy?

hi Doc, I m pregnant, my LMP is May12 2014, and my doctor suggested Duphaston 100mg for 3months. I have been experiencing a severe Gastritis problem ever since i started using it. Now my doctor suggested to go with Puregest200mg. But still my gastritis problem continues and every 1-2hrs i start getting upper abdomen pain. Is the gastritis a common problem during pregnancy or is it because of the drugs i m using. Am awaiting a reply and thank you in advance

See, no doubts ,gastritis is very common problem in pregnancy,more in 1st trimester. But if u want to find it that, is it because of medicine in ur case, u do one thing, stop Puregest for few days and then see,the response.If symptoms improve then u can take tab Puregest vaginally instead of orally , it will help u to reduce symptoms.
