Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes, generic Rosuvastatin is same as Crestor.

Pill with imprint TV 7570 is white, round and has been identified as Rosuvastatin calcium 5 mg. Whereas the original Crestor 5 mg has an imprint of ZD4522 5 is yellow in color and round shaped.

They contain the same active ingredient of Rosuvastatin which is commonly prescribed to lower high blood cholesterol levels. So, the generic Rosuvastatin is equally effective in reducing the high cholesterol hence can be taken in place of Crestor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
