Is Generic Version Of Adderall Advisable To Increase Concentration?

I'm a student athlete at a school with highly rated academic and athletic programs. In order to complete a research project and paper I took an adderall, it helped me focus I could concentrate and my work out put increased greatly. However I don't want to become dependent on this amphetamine like many other student athletes I know. I do have problems concentrating in class, sitting still all that good stuff but I don't want a prescription for something that could turn me into a speed addict, are there any normal generic and less addictive forms of this drug, I've looked into nootropics but I don't feel safe ordering a drug that's made somewhere without any sort of FDA or restrictions, please help.

I can understand your concern. Adderall is an amphetamine drug and the drug helps in focus and attaining good concentration but at the same time the drug is highly addictive and regular use of this drug cause withdrawal inform of poor performance and loss of concentration. This is the reason the drug has been banned for recreational use. So I would advise you to not to take the drug again unless properly prescribed. For poor focus try relaxation exercises and yoga which would help you in attaining good concentration. Medicines like Modafinil, Armodafinil etc help in improving alertness and wakefulness. You can visit a psychiatrist for poor focus and can take prescription of these drugs if needed.
