Hello and welcome to HCM, Genital warts are most commonly caused by human papilloma virus (HPV). The serotype of HPV causing warts has to be determined by serological tests. The serotypes 6 and 11 are most often associated with genital tract carcinoma. The Pap test does not show any atypical cells and shows only inflammation, there is nothing to worry. However, get Pap test at regular intervals to look for any evidence of dysplasia or malignant change.
