Is Gestational Sac Size Of 12mmx5mmx12mm A Cause For Concern?
Hi, I have a gestational sac size of 12mmx5mmx12mm, my hcg has gone from 1279 to 8994 in 7 days. Had an ultra sound and just gestational sac seen , but also have cycles varying from 32 to 38 days could I be too early to see yolk sac or embryo as I have been given information on missed miscarriages please help.
At 8994 HCG level, one should be able to see yolk sac and embryo. So please repeat your ultrasound scan in another 4 days. If Yolk sac not seen by then I am afraid that it could be a delayed miscarriage.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Ramadevi Wani
