Is Getting A Tattoo Safe While Having Heat Rashes On The Body?
Hi.I have suffered from prickly heat or heat rash for many years now and although I am now able to manage it as best I can sometimes when I get it really bad it can look similar to say chicken pocks, sometimes with small bubbles forming. after a few hours my skin will return to normal on its own. I just wondered if I was to get a tattoo and then the heat rash took affect around the area would it affect or distort the tattoo with these tiny bubbles that sometimes appear? I have wanted a tattoo for many years now but avoided it because of worrying if it will be a waste of time and money if my condition would ruin it. thanks for your thoughts. Daryl
As per your query of the tattoo, my advice is - 1. It is better to avoid having tattoos while having a skin problem. 2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. Once lesions are a cure, you can go for tattoo after 7-10 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
