Is Giving Montair Safe For Recurrent Cough And Nasal Congestion To Child?
Hi, my daughter is 4years old. She has a problem of cough and nose block most of the time. We took her to doctor, they are giving medicine after taking it she is ok but again after some dayssame problem. Even sometime she had 2 times antibiotics in 1 month itself. Then dr adviced me to give her Montair kid for 1 month. I want to ask whether it is safe for her? Does it has any side effects?

Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have recurrent cough and nasal congestion which is due to upper respiratory tract infection and common cold. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures such as you should take cough expectorants. Taking Montair is safe to use. You should take anti inflammatory medication such as Levocetirizine. You should get blood test done. You should get an x ray of the chest and pulmonary function tests done as well. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should use throat lozenges and go rinses with warm saline water. You should Chew a Vitamin C pellet. Take decongestants and mucolytic agents. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Take diet rich in vitamin B12. You should take antibiotics such as Levofloxacin or Azithromycin for 5-7 days.
