Is Gonadotropin Deficiency, Related With Lack Of Breast Milk Secretion?
Hello, I have hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. After HMG therapy and IUI, now i m pregnant. 4th month is going on, right now i am taking progestrone support only. I want to know in future will breast milk produce naturally aur i have to take any hormone replacement for that?
If your prolactin producing cells are intact, you will have breast milk. In pregnnacy, your prolactin levels should be naturlly high. Get a prolactin test now, and if it is elevted, it is likely that your prolactin producing cells are intact . However, prolactin producing cells need some support from estrogen as well. So some estrogen supplement may be required after delivery ( based on your level of Estrogen level)
