Is Gonorrhoea Possible Without Sexual Intercourse?
My father is a 77 year old man with alzheimer s. He is cared for in his home by my mother. He does not drive, he never goes out. Today, after an ultrasound, his primary care physician diagnosed him with gonorrhea. How is this possible since that is an STD and my parents have abstained for years

Some possibilities are there first this could be relapsed of infection if your father eve had this infection before although this is very rare, second get done the test to find out the organism with the swab method this is the only option that could clear the doubt, hope this information helps, take care.
