Is Half A Tablet Of 100mg Losartan Advisable Instead Of 50mg Losartan?

Hi, I was prescribed 50mg of Losartin once a day! The pharmacy was out of them and gave my husband 100mg tablets when he picked them up for me. They said to cut in half! I have a splitter but they are not scored and it s difficult to get them in even halves! Now the weather is getting bad and it ll be Monday before they can order and have the 50mh in for me. Will it be ok to take a close half or better now that I have no choice? What precautions do I need to take?

u can take half tablet of losartan 100 mg. try to cut it half , if it's not exactly half its not a problem. do not panic. if u feel it really very difficult better go to 50 mg losartan.
