l fell 5 days ago and hit my right eyebrow really hard on the floor. l ice it up about 2 or 3 hours my eyelid started swelling up black eye and all. but lm getting headache from one side to another on my head ,the right side around the bruise feels heavy and slight numbness at times but the headache starts when l least expect it ..she l get myself check if it continue more than a week...
I can understand your concern. You must know that your head injury was mild as you are conscious and oriented after 5 days. However the pain due to it can cause problem for 14-16 days.
It is good that you applied icepacks at injured area. You can also take some painkiller like : Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription : Tablet Paracetamol after proper prescription
Also, you should : Avoid straining and heavy work : You can take rest for 10 days
If you feel, it is not decreasing at all, then better consult doctor to get CT head examination and general examination. It will help you in finding exact cause and treating it.
