Is Heart Rate Of 96 Bpm A Cause For Concern?

Hi, is 96 bpm smth to be concerned of? It s not resting heart rate as it is 3 am and I was going to sleep but I have got a bit concerned and I m not sure whether to sleep or call a doctor.. I m a 60kg 22 year old woman. My heart rate is normally above 80 but 96 looks high..

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Heart rate of 96 beats per minute on a single episode should not be much of a concern. Some times overwork or stress could have induced the increase in cardiac activity.
Take adequate physical and mental rest for a couple of days. Eat healthy food and consdood good quantities of water. Check your heart rate again.
In case it is above 90 beats per minute, you need evaluate for what could be the cause by getting your blood pressure checked along with electrocardiogram and echocardiogram done.
Kindly consult Physician or Cardiologist with the reports for appropriate evaluation and management.
