Is Heartburn A Side Effect Of Lutera?

I started taking lutera birth control about 2 weeks about, and have been noticing a bit of heartburn after i take it. is this a common side effect? What other side effects are common with this medicine? I was prescribed it to help manage pcos, and am hoping it will help with my acne as well.

I can understand your concern for the safety of medicine Lutera.
Lutera contains a combination of hormone preparation Levonorgestrel & Ethinyl estradiol basically used to prevent pregnancy.

Its common side effects of include nausea (especially when you first start taking it), vomiting, headache, stomach cramping, bloating, dizziness, vaginal discomfort or itching, vaginal discharge, breast tenderness or swelling, nipple discharge, freckles or darkening of facial skin, increased hair growth, loss of scalp hair, changes in weight or appetite, problems with contact lenses, or decreased sex drive.
Acne may improve or worsen.
