Hello,

Yes, menorrhagia or excess menstrual bleeding is an adverse effect of Norethisterone pills. Few tips to control bleeding are:
1) Take Tab. Tranexamic acid for 5 days.
2) Take Tab. Dexorange or any iron preparation for at least 3 months to compensate the blood loss and prevent anemia.
3) Take Tab. vitamin C as it promotes iron absorption.

It can't be taken as 3 pills in one day. Only one pill can be taken each day and at the same time. You seem to have taken over dosage. Anyhow it will get excreted from the body with time.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
