Hello
Thank you for posting at HCM.
HBsAg test being positive, means you are serologically active for Hep B. You should first do another confirmatory test from some other lab, a USG Abdomen to assess liver status, LFT to assess liver function and CBC to assess cell counts, and various blood indicators.
I am not sure which doc you contacted, because if you are serologically positive, you need to undergo
antiviral therapy to avoid progression of the diseases. Hep B is a dreaded disease with serious complications like
cirrhosis which require Live transplantation.
We suggest you to get in touch with a Surgeon , and advise you to only use allopathic medications and suggestions from allopathic practitioners only for your case. As you are from Patna, you can visit BHU and get effective treatment towards your disease.
Mainstay of the treatment is antiviral medicines,
multivitamin supplements, diet modifications including stopping alcohol intake and
liver transplantation.
Hope to have informed you sufficiently
Thanks
