dear,
alt levels has got no relation with sleep disturbances per se.
sleep disturbance here is a mojor concern which at may predispose to cardiac complications and then it's a vicious circle.
An underlying
depression could also set in if it persist.
Here our scope of intervention lies in setting up a healthy lifestyle and maintaing proper
sleep hygiene.
my advice to you is to avoid caffeine and stimulants after 6 pm.
avoid large meals in dinner.
use bed only to sleep, do not lie ideal without sleeping.
If you don't fall asleep within 5-10 mins of getting in bed, get up and do some thing else.
Have moderate physical exercise in morning for half an hour.
If symptoms persist despite of these modifications then a course of
anti depressant be useful I suggest your doctor to add
tab
fluoxetine 20 mg in morning
tab alprazolam 2 mg half hour before getting in bed
thanks
