Is High Ketone Level Bad For Baby During Pregnancy?

My wife is 29 weeks pregnant and last week her GTT showed Type 2 diabetes, which is Gestational.The Ketone level was high in the morning urine.How can that be controlled? Is it bad for the baby? She had a long night s sleep and had adequate blood sugar levels when we tested last night after dinner.

YA DEFINATELY , KETONES IN URINE IS NOT GOOD...IT SUGGEST INADEQUATE CONTROL OD DIABETES... SOMETIMES IN THE EARLY MOPRNING THE GLUCOSE LEVEL GOES TOO DOWN ( DOWN PHENOMENON) WHICH LEADS TO ADVERSE EFFECT ON BABY AND MOTHER...

ADEQUATE DOSE OF INSULIN BEFORE NIGHT WILL SOLVE THIS PROBLEM
I ADVISE TO MEET YOUR DOCTOR FOR ADEQUATE DIABETES CONTROL..
