Is History Of Being Bitten By A Vaccinated Dog A Cause For Concern?

Sir I was bitten by my friend dog on my hand in 2011 - 12 and according to him dog was vaccinated and thats why I didn t take any vaccination. Dog also died in 2013 ... it been more than 4 years and I am kind of worried of getting rabies. Please let me know any solution or help.

It is understandable to be concerned regarding a dog bite but if the dog was vaccinated, this is highly unlikely.

If you are still concerned there are tests that can be done to determine if a person has been exposed to rabies.
Testing of saliva, serum (blood), spinal fluid (fluid from the back) and skin biopsy of hair.

You can speak to your doctor about this option.
