Is Homeopathy Advisable After Bone Marrow Transplant Surgery?
Sir, mandate, my husband has undergone bone marrow transplant on 4/2/17. Till now he has to transfuse rbc s& rdp s after every weak or 10 days .Dr says grafted marrow is not working though the chimerism report shows 100% donor s marrow.does homeopathy can help in further management ,so that cellularity may be boosted to produce own blood.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
While a bone marrow transplant with a 100% donor match is good, there are still risks of graft rejection. Additionally it takes a while to settle down. In the case of transplant failure, you should ask your doctor for alternative steps, depending on the cause of the transplant. Homeopathy as a whole, I would not advise, as there is not enough scientific proof of its efficacy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
