Is Hypothyroidism Curable And What Is The Best Time To Take Eltroxin Supplements?

Hi,i am a 28 year old guy, non smoker/Alcoholic My Question is 1.Is Hypothyroidism is curable or a non-curable disease.2. What is Best Time to Take the Eltroxin supliments (Strictly 60 mins before breakfast or can i take early such as 6/7 AM) 3. currently i am on 150mg ELTROXIN from past 2 year, and TSH level is normal, Total T3 is Slightly varying and My Triglycerides level is 240.

Good day.
Question1) The answer to your question one is based on the type of hypothyroidism you have. Only transient hypothyroidism gets corrected. Most likely Hypothyroidism is permanent and lifelong medication is required.

Question2) The best time is about an hour before any food in the morning. We would say as soon as you get up.

3) If your TSH levels are normal, then continue Eltroxin 150 mcg. When you check your blood test next time, check FT4 ,TSH and Anti TPO in the morning( take your tablets only after taking blood on the test day).
