Is Hysterectomy The Only Remedy For A Huge Fibroid In Uterus?
Hi I had a ultra sound done ,because of pain and heavy bleeding.I was told I had a fibroid the size of a baseball on top of my uterus.My doctor recommended a hysterectomy.Im 47 years old .I really didn t want to go that route if there were other options

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the uterine lesion is there (Fibroid) and cause the heavy vaginal bleeding then first step would be to stop the bleeding and it can be done with medical management second such lesion with heavy always demands the surgery, still it is rule you can go for second opinion, till then have complete bed rest hope this information helps.
