Is Impetigo Related With Acne And Sores On The Lips?
Hi, have been post menopausal for 7 years and developed acne that turns to imbedded sores below bottom lip on chin. I m taking opiates but when it started was swimming in a pool with children at times. Could there be any relation to this being impetigo

As per your query you are wondering if impetigo related with acne and sores on the lips . which occurs because of infection of bacteria when clogged pores gets filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. Impetigo can also be one of the reasons . You should wash your face with mild soap and cold water twice a dayYou simple have contact with that that too for a fraction of second. It it stills gives you any symptoms then you should visit dentist and consult. You should go for thorough examination and start treatment after proper prescription. Drink plenty of fluids.
