Is Increase In OGTT Sign Of Diabetes?

Hello. I am a 30 year-old female. I recently took an Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) after having suffered a retinal tear. The first reading (fasting) was 85. Two hours later the reading was 160. Should I be classified as a prediabetic? And could this be connected with the retinal tear? I am otherwise healthy and not overweight.

Dear Madam,
Your Fasting values are perfectly fine. The 2nd hour value says you are in prediabetes. Now this is not related to your retinal tear. Is there any family history of Diabetes? Are you slightly overweight for your height?
All you have to do is avoid all direct sugars and lose 10% of your current body weight in the next 6months. I am sure if you do this your GTT test will give you normal values and you would have successfully postponed diabetes.
So its time to get your running shoes out and go for a 30mins brisk walk ..
All the best..
