Is Increase In Platelet Count A Reason For Cramping Sensation On The Legs During Menstrual Period?
hi, i am on cilostazol 50mg 2x a day now because of thrombocytosis and my pkatelet was around 386. recently got my blood tested and now it is at 475. i have a slight cramping sensation on my right leg, which i had on my left leg before. got duplex scans on both and showed no embolism. but now kinda scared again because of the increase. is it because of my menstrual period?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your platelet count is almost high normal. Generally platelet count of 475 doesn't cause any symptoms. Your leg cramps may bd due to hour menstrual period or muscular strain. It has no relation with thrombocytosis. Don't worry about your platelet count. Just be relaxed. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
