Is Increasing BP During Stress A Cause For Concern?
Did online quiz showing 99.9% chance of high blood pressure! by my syptoms and 99.1 of diabetes. Last summer my blood work showed no sign of diabetes, but my pressure sometimes creeps just above normal. My pressure has always been excellent, till recently when stress will drive it up quickly. I am tiring to reduce stress as much as I can but I m not sure how serious this is. Could you shed some light on this for me?
This is typical question asked by Essential Hypertensives. Diabetes may or may not be but BP may be raised. I do not know your age and other medical history otherwise my comments would have been specific.
Yes. Stress increases BP and one should try to remain stress free.
Yoga and/ or meditation , few minutes a day, may bring drastic reduction in stress levels thereby helping to maintain BP normalcy.
If I were your doctor I would have advised you to use pure and safe herbals in the form of Cap Ashwagandha and Cap Tagara to calm the nerves and relax the mind and in turn support in maintaining BP. If no disease, these caps still do nervine care. No side effects at all.
Hope this guides you well. Can I be of more help.
