Is Infection Detected In The Blood After Treating Liver Cysts A Concern?

I have cysts on the lever for more than 5 years. The size is not changing, considered to be benign. I do feel its presence in the right side of stomach. Recently some infection has been detected in blood test. Advised to take a course of 5 days of CEFTUM 500 mg. Kindly advice. I am 76, otherwise quite fit.

Liver cysts are of no consequation and you not need to wary. They are benign findings and are a common thing especially in elderly people as you rare. As for infection you need to take antibiotics.
