my daughter is 6 years old and often she has cold and cough.Recently she had eye redness and watery eyes.Yesterday i took her to the doctor and when the doctor examined her ,he said that she had the infection of conjunctiva and ordered chlorophenicol eye ointment and optifresh eye drops. Is it curable ? When shd i have next visit with doctor?
She is having conjunctivitis , it could be bacterial /viral . I suggest continue with the drops as per prescription. Give a gap of at least 1 hour between two drops. You should see relief with 3-7 days. If not follow up with your doc once more.
