Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I twisted my knee about 3 weeks ago and it has been locking up and popping since. There is no swelling but a burning sensation in it sometimes. No redness. I ve been putting off going to the doctor because I figured if there is no swelling that it probably wasn t that serious. Is this something that goes away on it s own? Or should I be seeing a doctor for it?
Brief Answer: Require an x-ray and MRI scan for suspected Meniscus Tear or loose body.

Based on what you said, I suspect a meniscus injury or loose body fragment fron bone which is causing your symptoms. You should reach out to orthopaedic surgeon nearby and get an x-ray and MRI scan to detect the cause of injury.
You may take tab. naproxen 20mg once a day if you are experiencing pain. Future management will be planned when the cause is found. Don't put unnecessary weight on affected knee
Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts. Keep a follow up to see how you doing
