Is Inhalation Of Industrial Fumes A Cause For Concern?
Hi I am being expose to fumes at my work that had spilled out of a cracked fuel line on a motorcycle that has be sitting for 3 years with gas in the tank. When we got to work Monday the entire two story building had a laquer like smell to it. They have removed the motocycle and boxes that were near the leak, put kitty liter on spilled gas on the cement, however the smell still lingers in the air and is coming into where I sit. How concerned of the side effects should I be? I have purchased an OSHA approved mask for oil and oil particles. But my co workers continue to breath the noxious air.
Inhaling toxic fumes over a long period of time can lead to various respiratory problems. Thus, it is advised to reduced the inhalation of toxic fumes as much as possible.
