Is Intake Of Tretiva 20 Safe?

Hi there....My wife is been taking Tretiva20 from past three to four years, I guess, nobody has prescribed it, it s just that her friend was taking it for skin complexion so she started, so could you please brief me about the medicine, are there any side effects??? And how long the medicine has to be taken, as she is in conception of taking life long, please advice and help.

Hello,
TRETIVA is ISOTRETOIN and is used for the trratment of acne.
It is a very dangerous drug as it can cause birth defects in baby.
On herself it can result in hair loss,depression and even suicidal tendencies.
She must be told to quit it completely.
