Is Intake Of Utrogestan Safe During Pregnancy?
Good day! I am 7 weeks pregnant and my OB GYN put me on progesterone (Utrogestan) 2x2 a day from the very beginning I tested possitive. This is my first pregnancy. I would like to know since most of miscarriges are due to chromosomal abnormalities does it mean that if this is in my case the progesterone will keep an abnormal embrio?

Progesterone is absolutely contraindicated during pregnancy because the risks involved outweigh the benefits. I am not sure and you did not mention the reason why you have been put on pregesterone but I think you should catchup with your doctor to know the reason. thank you
