Is Intake Of Alcohol Safe While Having Liver Hemangioma?
hello. I got diagnosed liver heamalgionoma today and I wanted to know is alcohol allowed, iv been referred to the hospital. I am going away for the weekend with friends and alcohol may be offered, I just wanted a bit of advise on this matter. I haven t touched alcohol for 3years due to my choice as I don t like the taste anymore, the pain is severe when it comes I am always sick with the pain, please help me with this queery.thank you. Hemangioma of liver is a benign tumor of blood vessels. Complications of hemangioma are due to increase in size or rupture of tumor. Alcohol leads to increase in liver enzymes and thus deleterious to health of liver. I suggest you to abstain from alcohol to keep the liver enzymes in control.
