Is Intake Of Alcohol While On Xanax A Cause For Concern?
I was recently prescribed a small dose of xanax (.25 milligrams) for anxiety. I havent been taking them for very long, and havent taken one for 2 days until today. This morning at 9 am, I took one. A little less than 12 hours later, I had one shot that was offered to me by a friend, forgetting I took the pill earlier. I have no intention of drinking anymore, but am I in any danger?

It is not good to take alcohol when on xanax. This medication can increase the effects of alcohol. You may feel more drowsy, dizzy, or tired. Just observe for this .
